This is how we make a difference:
World Wildlife Fund:
The old west is often romanticized due to the hero-like figures who pioneered west in order to chase their dreams. But it’s the countless animals, that aided these heroes, that often go unsung and unappreciated. A Cowboy is naught without his horse. For this reason and many more, animals are an important part of my life—that’s why I choose to donate to the World Wildlife Fund to ‘stop the degradation of the planet's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature.’
Fisher House Foundation:
As a veteran Ive seen first hand how important Fisher House has been as a resource to families during the hardest periods of their lives. Fisher House Foundation is best known for a network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay at no cost while a loved one is receiving treatment. These homes are located at major military and VA medical centers nationwide, and in Europe, close to the medical center or hospital it serves. Just to piggyback on what they are saying, they help out veterans when they need it most.
Partnership with Native Americans:
Nothin’ like an old cowboy and “indians” film from the 60s to quench that desert thirst. But the truth of the matter was that in forging our journey west, groups of people were shamelessly removed from their homes. Native Americans are an important piece of American history, and they won’t be forgotten on our watch. That’s why we support Partnership with Native Americans in ‘serving immediate needs and long term solutions in order to build and sustain self-sufficient Native American communities.
